When we think of summer, we often imagine relaxation and sunshine. But for many, the season can bring burnout. Long work hours, childcare responsibilities, or the pressure to make the most of every sunny day can take a toll.

Recognizing the signs is the first step. If you’re feeling persistently exhausted, irritable, or disconnected, it might be burnout. Pay attention to these signals and take them seriously.

Preventing summer burnout involves setting boundaries. You don’t have to say yes to every barbecue or beach trip. Prioritize downtime to recharge. Balance is key.

Also, stay hydrated and protect yourself from the heat. Physical discomfort can amplify stress, so take care of your body while you care for your mind. With mindfulness and balance, you can make summer a season of renewal instead of exhaustion.
